These experiences have produced the empathy and confidence to work effectively with private company owners and managers.

C. Sam Walls, Chairman, is the Chief Operating Officer of The Arkansas Capital Corporation Group (ACCG). Sam has been an entrepreneur or capital provider to small businesses for most of his business career. He is responsible for leading ACCG to its current status as the largest SBA lender located within the State of Arkansas. His broad experience spans many industries and companies experiencing rapid growth. Sam received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Joe T. Hays, President and Managing Partner, was an advisor or interim executive to numerous small businesses for fourteen years prior to the creation of DSV. His experiences include strategy development, M&A advisory, growth capital placement and crisis management. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of several private companies, the UAMS Biotechnology Center, and is Vice President of the Southern Regional Association of SBICs. Joe is an honor graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and received an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Larry B. Carter, Partner, has spent his entire career advising and financing both small and large businesses. His experience has come in the arenas of investment banking, structured finance and business advisory consulting. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Larry serves as a director of private companies and is a member of the Dean's Advisory Board of the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.
